Our kitchen wasn’t getting a full renovation, but it was ready for a glow-up. With a bit of paint, new flooring, and some simple styling updates, we gave this dated space a fresh, warm feel that finally ties in with the rest of our home. It’s not “done,” but it’s already so much better, and I’m sharing all the details, including what we used, what surprised us, and what’s still to come.

Think early morning light, a table that’s always ready for another coffee, and the kind of details that make slow living feel a little bit special.

Soft linen, curved cane and cup that feels like home. This is the kind of styling that makes the everyday feel intentional.

When we were choosing our hallway pendants, Reece was all about the farmhouse look and I was leaning more classic and traditional.

These felt like a nice blend - timeless and a little bit country, without leaning too far either way.

Now…whose win column does this go in, and who gets the final say next time?

Just kidding - it’ll be me.

I’ll always love a crisp, styled bed…

But linen has a way of making a messy bed look like a moment.

…or is that just what I tell myself when I don’t want to make it?
